Linda Albert, B.A., APA Certification, Master Certification Neuro-Linguistics


Linda Albert is a certified Archetypal Pattern Analyst (APA) and communications and life coach. She holds APA and dream translator certifications from the Assisi Institute in Brattleboro, Vermont where her academic thesis, “To Everything there is a Season,” explored the archetype of aging. Linda also holds a Master Certification in Neuro-Linguistics, an approach to communication and personal development that offers many practical applications in her individual coaching work with private clients. She attended the University of Michigan and Calvin College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Education, followed by study at the University of Michigan’s Research Center for Group Dynamics and the National Training Laboratories Institute for Applied Behavioral Science in Bethel, Maine.

Linda has lectured, designed, and taught workshops nationally for over three decades to professional and business groups and non-profit organizations. Recent workshop titles include: Conscious and Creative Aging, Navigating Transitions, The New Science of Happiness, Writing a Journey, Beliefs and Values, Sending Clear Messages, Gender Communication, Treasure Mapping, Communication and Wellness: Listening to Self and Others, and Living Longer, Living Wiser, Living Deeply. Linda has taught extensively through the Emeritus Center of Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and in Sarasota, Florida, where she now resides, for the C.G Jung Society, The Longboat Key Education Center, and the Women's Resource Center.

Linda’s love of the arts is reflected in her work as a former theater director and through her writing. Over the past forty years her poetry, essays and short stories have appeared internationally in numerous magazines, journals and anthologies including McCalls, The Wall Street Journal, Sacred Journey, Today’s Caregiver, The Healing Muse, Itineraries and SNReview. Recipient of the Atlanta Review International Merit Award and the Dyer-Ives Foundation Poetry Prize, she has also received nods for her poetry manuscript, Helping to Chart a Lost Continent, from both Poet’s Corner and Black Lawrence presses.

Linda maintains a private consulting practice in Sarasota, Florida specializing in life coaching and archetypal pattern analysis.
