Biography

Dr. Mustaine is an Associate Professor in the College of Counseling, Psychology and Social Sciences at Argosy University in Sarasota, FL. She teaches in the master's mental health counseling and marriage and family counseling programs and doctoral counselor education and supervision program. She has taught a graduate level course in Grief and Loss Counseling for 20 years and has presented on the topic of grief and loss at state and national professional counseling conferences. She has thirty years of experience as a mental health counselor. She earned her master's degree in counseling and her doctorate in Counselor Education. She is a National Certified Counselor, a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor, a Certified Bereavement Facilitator, and a licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. She has worked in outpatient mental health facilities, community counseling agencies, private practice, and college counseling centers. She has a small private practice in Sarasota with a focus on grief and loss.
